A Place Free Of Judgement
Book cover design competition
We’re pleased to announce that the winner of the A Place Free Of Judgement book cover competition is 18-year-old Ziho from Coventry. We really loved Ziho’s dynamic use of typography and it reminds us of early Faber and Faber typographical book covers.
Ziho’s design will be used on the cover of the book which features a new story by Tony White called Zombie’s Ate My Library, as well as a wider collection of library stories we have gathered over the course of the project.
Runners up
There are two runners up for the competition – it was too tough to call!
Below is Sophie from Shrewsbury’s design featuring all of her own photography work. We really like her colour way and the lovely delicate cut-out figures of the design.
And our second runner up is Luke whose cover designs show charming and characterful images.
Book release
The book is due for release in early 2017 and will be distributed through the Blast Theory shop. If you’d like to reserve a copy please email ju@blasttheory.co.uk or contact the studio on 01273 413 455.
You can also sign up to the Blast Theory mailing list to stay up to date with our future projects.
A big thank you to everyone who entered and joined us for the live event – we had such a great time and hope you did too.
